Denjou-ji Temple

Denjoji Temple was built at the end of the Kamakura period (1185-1333) and is an ancient temple worshipped by the Odawara Hojo clan during the Sengoku period (1467-1615). Hakushu Kitahara, a creator of nursery rhymes, built a house on the premises which looked like a horned owl, earning the nickname "Mimizuku Temple." ※ Two types of Goshuin (shrine stamps) are available
