10Hadano, in west-central Kanagawa, is within the boundaries of the legendary Tanzawa-Oyama Quasi-National Park. A beautiful and spiritual area of Kanagawa Prefecture, it's been nurtured and elevated by nature over many generations. Full of hot springs since ancient times its natural spring waters are therapeutic and perfect after a day or two of hiking in the local mountains. Flowers and peanuts grow naturally in Hadano so it's well worth a visit if you are interested in these natural products.
There are also several hiking courses around the renowned Shibusawa Hills and Koboyama Park as well as exploring the natural wonders of the Tanzawa mountain range and the Okura and Yabitsu Pass. If that's not enough then Hadano also offers various stunning views of Mount Fuji especially from the eastern side of the city.
