Yokohama Air Cabin

This urban ropeway is one of the newest landmark additions to Yokohama’s Minato Mirai region. Catch some wonderful, unique views along the 5-minute journey from Sakuragi-cho to Canal Park or just enjoy the rest on your return from the Shinko District, home to some of Yokohama’s modern attractions like Cosmoworld or the CUPNOODLES MUSEUM.

Odawara Castle

Odawara Castle provides a fun outing for friends and family. The 1960 reconstruction offers one of Japan’s best castle experiences to be found in the Greater Tokyo Area, making it a popular day trip from the capital. Learn about the castle’s history via the interactive exhibits before donning your own samurai or ninja costume for that ultimate Instagram photo.

Hakone Open-Air Museum

This family-friendly art facility is perhaps most well-known for its outdoor sculptures, merging nature and art together in a wide-open space surrounded by Hakone’s spectacular mountainous scenery. For all the fun you can expect with the interactive exhibits, don’t miss the indoor Picasso exhibition which showcases a range of the late artist’s work and many abstract styles.
