Enoshima Escalator

In 1954 Japan built its the first outdoors escalator to connect the 106-meter bottom with the 46 meters' high mountaintops. It only takes about 4 minutes by "Enoshima Escar" and 20 minutes by walking the stone stairs. This escalator helps not only the elderly but families and couples who come sightseeing and for those who visit Enosima Shrine.
