It is the only park in Yokohama with a beach. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the sea, with about 1km of sandy beach and lush greenery spreading out across the area. You can enjoy clam digging in early spring, and the area becomes very crowded with swimmers during summer. The barbecue site is an excellent place to view Yokohama Hakkeijima (open from spring to autumn), and the "Sea Park Oyster Hut" opens in winter (may change from year to year).
