Myouzen-ji is the temple of the School of Nichiren located in Fujisawa City. Founded the first year of the Eisho period (1504), this temple is located in the corner of the Makita family tomb which has been designated as an official lodging (Honjin) for feudal lords and shogunate representatives and is a symbolic reminder to visitors of their past glory.
