
Gumyoji kan'non
Yokohama’s oldest temple. Gumyoji Kannon is a nationally designated important cultural property. The temple was called “Kyumyoji” in the Kamakura era, but it was changed to “Gumyoji” in tribute to Kannonkyo (Buddhist sutra).
