Eishou-ji Temple

About

This temple is of the Honganji sect of Jodo Shinshu (Nishi Honganji) located in Fujisawa City. Upon entering the temple gate you can find a graveyard on the left, where you can find the grave of Genzo Komatsuya, who ran a hatago-ya (an inn providing overnight lodging for travelers), surrounded by graves of Iimori women who were sold in the inn as prostitutes and were later buried here.
