Try out Japan’s largest foot bath facility at Yugawara Onsen’s Doppo no Yu. The place hasn’t changed much for years and is a great place to enjoy nature. Check out the Yugawara Station Square opened in October 2017 and the Tivoli Yugawara Sweets Factory. With this course, you can enjoy both old townscapes and new buildings.

Yugawara Station Square

Completed in October 2017. Designed by the Kengo Kuma Architectural Office, which also designed the National Stadium, this station-front plaza was designed based on the concepts of “a warm plaza where you can feel the warmth of the trees and the heat of steam,” and “a station-front plaza that serves as a community for tourists and residents to casually come together.”

This facility closed on March 31, 2020. Relax your heart and body at nine different foot spas that use natural hot springs! The park interior is designed based off the Japanese archipelago incorporating geographical Feng Shui, and it provides nine different types of hot springs with various uses. The second floor rest house offers foot sole massages by Yugawara acupuncture masseurs.

TIVOLI is confection maker which opened in November 2017 that produces assorted cookies and boasts the top share in the domestic market. This is their only facility for factory tours and direct retail.
