Koide River Red Spider Lilies Festival and Samukawa shrine

Spider lilies grow all along the Koide river which runs through Endou of Fujisawa City to Samukawa-machi. You can see the flowers grow for as much as 3 kilometers. It is a great strolling course with a view of Mt. Fuji. In the middle of September Spider-lily festival will take place. There are many food booths where Yomogi-mochi is very popular.
