Meigetsu-in Temple

Meigetsu-in Temple in Kita-Kamakura is also known as The Temple of Hydrangeas. For hydrangea season around June, many people flock here to view approximately 2,500 hydrangeas. The hydrangeas planted at Meigetsu-in are all a uniform blue color, dubbed "Meigetsu-in Blue".

Rokkoku Pass Hiking Course (From Kanazawa Hiking Courses)

The name Rokkoku Pass (Ten’en) comes from the views it used to offer of the six provinces of Musashi, Sagami, Kazusa, Shimosa, Awa, and Izu. Kanazawa Nature Park is a natural park located in Yokohama with an area of about 600,000 m². The park is divided into a "zoo area" and "plant area". With the seasons changing, you can observe the animals, insects, and plants.

Nokendo Historic Site

A temple known as the Nokendo was built here sometime between 1661-73. It is said that the term Kanazawa-hakkei began here after a Buddhist priest read a poem on the view of eight sceneries in the area from this location.
