Hike around spots associated with the Iiyama White Dragon legend

Central Area 3h45m 4

The Legend of the White Dragon is one of Iiyama’s seven wonders. This hiking course revolves around it. According to the legend, a long time ago, farmers experiencing drought emptied out Hakusan Pond’s source of water from the Hakusan mountaintop. The white dragon living in Hakusan Pond started dancing for water, and made it rain in the Sagami Plains for three days and three nights. Because of this, the farmers could reap full harvests that year.
