Onshi-Hakone-Koen Park

Onshi-Hakone Park is a prefectural park that extends over the site of the former Hakone Imperial Palace. The view from the park is superb, as it is the center of the Hakone sightseeing area along with being the site of the former palace. The park boasts a panoramic view ow Lake Ashi, the surrounding Hakone Outer Rim Mountains, and the peak of Mount Fuji, ans it has been selected as one of the "50 scenic spots in Kanagawa" for its magnificence. The monumental stone of "Rikyu Seiyo-kan" remains almost in the center of the park.
