Muryoukouji Temple of Mt. Taima

It is an old and venerable temple which is related to Ippen Shonin (senior monk) who established Jishuu (one of the factions of Japanese Buddhism). The beautiful temple grounds are designated as one of the "50 Beautiful Sceneries of Kanagawa". Also, there is a pond where Ippen Shonin carved a wooden statue of himself.
