Overview

Sendagi, Bunkyo-ku is where Ogai spent almost half of his life.This momorial museum stands on the site of Kancho-Ro where he spent his last years, from 1982 to 1922. He is well known as a novelist, drama writer, translator,reviewer and army doctor. He had such vast acquaintances with the intellectural people that we are able to know his great personarity.
