Kuhonji Temple
This is the site where Nitta Yoshisada led his troops to attack Kamakura in 1333 (Genko 3). Yoshisada erected this temple to lay the soul of the deceased of the Hojo clan to rest in 1337 (Engen 2). The inscriptions originally hand-painted by Yoshisada have been handed down and preserved in the main hall and on the main gate.
