Enoshima Yacht Harbor opened for yachting events for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. Since its opening, though being one of the few public yacht habors in Japan, it has contributed to the spreading of yacht activities. It is the venue for sailing at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
Travel tip
While on Enoshima Island make sure to visit the Yacht Harbor Building to learn all about the Yachting World Cup, the 1964 Tokyo Olympics and the upcomng 2020 Tokyo Olympics' yacht competition.
