25 Bosatsu Statues

25 Bosatsu Statues

Hakone

About 700 years ago, from the Kamakura period to the early Muromachi period, a large number of stone Buddhas and pagodas were built. Many of these stone Buddhas and pagodas are designated as national important cultural properties as relics that tell the story of Jizo worship in the Middle Ages, and the surrounding area is also designated as a national historic site.
