Tour the peaks of Mt. Enkai, Mt. Omaru, and Mt Ohira (the tallest mountain in Yokohama). On clear days, you can see all the way to Mt. Fuji. This is a natural hiking trail extending from the vicinity of Mt. Enkai to Ten’en Hiking Course. Kanazawa Natural Park (Kanazawa Zoo), Yokohama Nature Sanctuary, Kamisato, and Mori no Ie are located along this course.

Beatles Trail (From Kanazawa Hiking Courses)

This is a natural mountain path that leads to the Kamakura Ten’en Hiking Trail from the area around Mt. Enkai. Traveling along this route will take you past Kanazawa Nature Park (Kanazawa Zoo), Yokohama Nature Sanctuary, and Kamigou Morinoie. Called “the road traveled by rhinoceros beetles,” this hiking route runs from Kounandai Station through to Kamakura.

Meigetsu-in Temple

Meigetsu-in Temple in Kita-Kamakura is also known as The Temple of Hydrangeas. For hydrangea season around June, many people flock here to view approximately 2,500 hydrangeas. The hydrangeas planted at Meigetsu-in are all a uniform blue color, dubbed "Meigetsu-in Blue".
