Yokohama Chinatown

One of the largest Chinatowns in the world with140 years of history. More than 500 restaurants and shops fill an area of about 500 square meters. Known as one of the three major Chinatowns in Japan along with those in Kobe and Nagasaki.

Chinese Tea Specialty Store

This specialty store supplies many Chinese teas imported from various parts of China. It is located 10m away from Kanteibyo temple, the symbol of Chinatown. The store has a calming atmosphere reminiscent of retro Shanghai. There is also a cafe where you can enjoy Chinese tea on the 2nd floor.

Kantei byo

When Yokohama port was opened, one Chinese man came holding Kan'u’s wooden statue and he set up a temple worshipping Kan'u. Since then residents of Yokohama Chinatown worship this temple.
