A Day of Zen: Explore Yokosuka's Shrines

Miura Peninsula Full day 15

Wake up early on the day you’re staying at Yokosuka and head to Manshoji Temple for chanting and zen meditation. This happens on the 3rd Sunday of every month at 6:00 a.m. After having a breakfast of fresh seafood unique to seaside town Yokosuka, head to the photogenic and popular Fushimi Shiroakainari Shrine. This enchanting shrine worships the same deity as Kyoto’s Fushimi Inari Shrine.
