Yaguradake Hiking Course
When seen from Ashigara Plain, Yaguradake (Mt. Yagura) fascinates those who see it with its graceful shape of a Japanese soup bowl placed upside down. This hiking trail is about 8.7km in length and takes around 4.5 hours by foot. Climbing a steep slope takes you to the top of Mt. Yagura, where magnificent, panoramic views of Mt. Fuji, Mt. Hakone and Tanzawa Mountains await you. Refresh your body and soul with a splendid view!

Access | From Odawara: Take a train on the Daiyuzan Line of Izu-Hakone Railway at Odawara Station, ride for 21 minutes and alight at Daiyuzan Station. Take a Hakone-tozan bus bound for Jizo-do Iki at Odawara Station, ride for 10 minutes and alight at the Yagura-zawa bus stop. From Shin-Matsuda: Take a Hakone-tozan bus bound for Sekimoto at Shin-Matsuda Station, ride for 17 minutes, and alight at the 'Sekimoto' bus stop. Take a Hakone-tozan bus bound for Jizo-do at Shin-Matsuda Station, ride for 10 minutes, and alight at the 'Yagurazawa' bus stop. |
