Tohteru Confectionery Main Store

The Tohteru Confectionery Main Store, located in Kawasaki-juku on the old Tokaido road, offers sweets with a spirit of omotenashi (hospitality).

Founded in 1913, Tohteru has inherited the spirit of its predecessors and has devoted itself to making sweets for over 100 years.
We place great importance on offering seasonal, celebratory, and everyday sweets with the spirit of omotenashi.

As the main store is located near Kawasaki-juku, one of the 53 stations of the Tokaido road, we recommend the Nara chahan-style okowa (rice cake with tea and rice) and kawapira mochi (rice cake with mochi and rice cakes) that originate from Kawasaki-juku. We also make sweets that are rooted in the local area.
