
Tanzawa Lake Memorial Museum Miho No Ie
A multipurpose facility built to commemorate Lake Tanzawa, which was created during the construction of the dam. Videos and photographs introducing the creation of Lake Tanzawa and pottery from the Jomon period excavated from the vicinity are on display. There is also a souvenir area that sells local specialties. It also features Miho house, a relocated and restored private house from the end of the Edo period, which you see for free, including photographs of the scenery before it was submerged by the lake. It can also be used as a rest area (for a fee).
