Shinshuji

Shinso-ji Temple is a temple of the Hongwanji School of Shinshu Jodo. In front of the temple grounds is the Greek temple-style main hall, and on the hillside is the golden Kawasaki Great Buddha Enshrinement Tomb. On the hillside to the right is the bell tower and the bell, "Shiawase no Kane" (Bell of Happiness), a posthumous work by the painter Mitsuo Ikeda.
