Shinmei Shrine

This small shrine enshrines the patron god, Ohirume no Mikoto. The regular festival is held on July 15 and 16. Before the war, prayer festivals would be held on the 1st and 15th of every month to pray for peace, the health of parishioners, and the fortunes of war for soldiers out on the battlefield. Many locals and visitors would come to these prayer festivals.
