Obara-juku Honjin

Obara-juku Honjin

Obara-juku Honjin is the only honjin existing out of Kanagawa Prefecture's 26 Honjins. It is a purely Japanese-style magnificent building with a high entrance. It was designated as the prefecture's important cultural property on February 13, 1996 (Heisei 8). Though not certain, around 200 years seems to have passed since the construction of the building.
