The residential houses gifted by the family who has lived here since ancient times is now repurposed as the Niiharusatoyama Park Exchange Center (Formally Okutsu Residence), and opened in April 2009. It is mainly used as a resting area for the visitors, and holds many events such as nature observation and experiencing the Satoyama culture.
