Nihon University College Museum of Bioresource Sciences
Nihon University College Museum of Bioresource Sciences has a wide range of exhibits and displays ranging from large skeletons and stuffed specimens of livestock or wild animals, specimens of insects, trees, and plants, to historical farming utensils and fishing gears. The museum first started by collecting specimens owned by the former Department of Agriculture and former Tokyo University of Veterinary Medicine and Livestock Science. It was designated as a facility similar to a museum by the Kanagawa Prefectural Board of Education in 1990 and opened as a resource center. The museum is currently being visited by not only students but also local residents.
