Shonandai Park is a 10-minute walk from Shonandai Station. The park is crowded with families with infants and toddlers during the daytime and with elementary and junior high school students on weekday evenings. The park has tennis courts (fee required), a lawn, a playground, and other facilities, and is filled with the lively voices of visitors. There are also many benches set up in the park, and visitors can be seen enjoying reading a book in the sunlight filtering through the trees.
