Nihon University Bioresource Sciences College Museum

The Nihon University Bioresource Sciences College Museum opened in 1984 as a reference room and is now visited by students, foreign and domestic researchers, and also the general public. In 1990, it was designated as a facility equivalent to a museum by the Kanagawa Prefectural Board of Education and was renamed in 2006. A wide range of materials is on display, including skeletal specimens of livestock and wild animals, insects, trees, plants, marine organisms, old farming tools, and biological displays of aquatic organisms. We continue to collect various materials and hope that students and local residents alike visit and become familiar with the museum.
