Nanko-in Memorial Taiyo no Sato Gardens (View of Mt. Fuji)
Nanko-in is a facility that has had a significant impact on history since the Meiji period as a former tuberculosis sanatorium. To preserve its value for future generations, part of it has been opened to the public as Taiyo no Sato Garden. The Meiji period Western-style timber architecture and round ponds with fountains create an atmospheric scene, while the view of Mt. Fuji, seen from the western side of the garden, is so beautiful that it has been selected as one of the hundred best views of Fuji from the Kanto region. We recommend taking a leisurely stroll on a sunny day to enjoy the scenery.
