Isyoukenkyukai

Isyoukenkyukai

About

The Isyou-Kenkyukai is committed to continuing the traditional methods of making kimonos under three pillars: training the kimono makers, tailoring kimonos, as well as developing and selling innovative kimonos. They recently opened a classroom so that the general public can learn about the joys of making kimonos. After observing the classes, visitors can try putting strings through a kinchaku purse and deepen their knowledge about the tradition of making kimonos.
