Hoshinoyado Fujiya
Yoshinojuku is an inn town on the Koshu-kaido Road, one of the Five Highways determined at the beginning of the Edo period. It was midway on the road between Edo and Kofu, so it flourished a regular inn town of the Sankin-kotai. "Yoshinojuku Fujiya" was in operation as the inn "Fujiya", but in 1896 it burned down due to a big fire, and the current building was built around 1897. In April 2014, it was registered as a cultural property of the city.
