The broom cedar, designated as a national natural monument, is located near the entrance to the Broom Stream Settlement This broom cedar is one of the largest trees in the prefecture, with a chest height of 12 meters, a root circumference of 18 meters, a height of 45 meters, and an estimated age of 2,000 years—it is the oldest tree in the prefecture.
