It is the water source for Yokosuka's water supply. It is famous for its delicious taste and produces approximately 1,000 cubic meters of water daily. Named “Verny's water,” it can be drunk from the faucet in the parking lot (the water is purified by a filtration system). The pink cherry blossoms displayed against the blue Tokyo Bay make it a famous cherry blossom spot.
