Yokohama Landmark Tower is equipped with mainly office, hotel and shopping mall in addition to observation space, dockyard Garden and multi-purpose hall.
Yokohama’s Landmark Tower is a multi-purpose facility equipped with offices, a hotel, shopping mall, observation space, dockyard garden, and event hall. It is also the second tallest building in Japan and the fourth tallest structure. The tower stands at 296.3 meters high and is located in the Minato Mirai 21 district of Yokohama. Towering over the Yokohama Museum of Art, this impressive tower makes a great day trip all on its own.
Inside the building is a five-star hotel—the Yokohama Royal Park Hotel—from floors 49 to 70, holding a total 603 rooms. It makes for a romantic Yokohama stay overlooking either the bay or the cityscape. The on-site hotel also offers event catering and weddings, making Yokohama Landmark Tower the perfect place to start your Japan-based wedding or honeymoon from. Shops, restaurants, clinics, and offices make their home on the lower 48 floors.
The Sky Garden observatory, on the 69th floor, offers a 360-degree view of the city and its waters—on a clear day, guests can even see Mount Fuji. Open from 10 am to 9 pm, the observation floor charges much less what its Tokyo counterparts do, but offers just as thrilling and stunning a view. Guests can enjoy a slow break over the city at the Sky Café on the same floor; sit back and relax with soft drinks, beer, cocktails, and snacks. There is also a souvenir shop for the Landmark Tower on this floor, as well as an illustration shop that offers caricatures of you and your party.
As for shops, visitors will be in for a day of shopping at Yokohama Landmark Tower. From fashion to accessories, jewelry to cosmetics, and life stores and hobby shops, Landmark Tower has something for everyone.
After shopping, be sure to enjoy a great meal at the tower. Whether you want Japanese food or foreign, fast food or seated dining, Yokohama Landmark Tower’s many restaurants, diners, and cafes will sate any appetite. There’s traditional Japanese food, western, Italian, French, and many more international styles of dining, not to mention buffet-style restaurants.
Yokohama Landmark Tower is an easy 5-minute walk from Sakuragicho Station or a 3-minute walk from Minatomirai Station.
