Suzukien Garden Fruit Picking)
Suzukien Fruit Garden is a tourist orchard that keeps the height of trees low on a flat land. A wide range of visitors ranging from small children to elderly people and also those who are in wheelchairs can enjoy picking fruit in a safe environment. Enjoy picking organic fruits such as grapes, Japanese pears, persimmons and kiwis. There are also chestnuts.
Grapes/Pears: Mid August – early September
Chestnuts: Late August – late September (requires bookings, group bookings possible)
Persimmons: Late October – late November (group bookings possible)
Kiwifruit: November 1 – mid-Novermber

|Costs||Grapes: Fujitoshi 1,500 yen, Beni Izu 1,300 yen; Pears: Kosui 650 yen, Toyosui 550 yen; Chestnuts 1,000 yen, Persimmons 500 yen. All prices are per 1 kg.|
Take a bus at the North Exit of JR Chigasaki Station, alight at 'Koide Nihonmatsu' bus stop and walk for 15-20 minutes. Take a bus at the North Exit of JR Tsujido Station, alight at 'Lifetown' and walk for 15-20 minutes. Take a bus at Odakyu Shonandai Station, alight at 'Keio University' and walk for 15-20 minutes.
