Myouhouji Temple

Founded in 1357, Myouhouji is a Buddhist temple of the Nichiren sect. It is also known as Koke-dera (moss temple) for its beautiful stone steps covered with moss.

Take a bus from #3 bus stop at JR Kamakura Station (on the JR Yokosuka Line) East Exit Bus Terminal, alight at "Oomachi Yotsukado" bus stop and walk 3 minutes.
