Musubiya Zen
Musubiya Zen, located near Shin-Matsuda and Matsuda Station, is a restaurant that specializes in freshly made onigiri (Japanese rice balls). The generously portioned onigiri are made with fluffy Aizu Koshihikari rice from Fukushima, wrapped in the first harvest of seaweed from the Ariake Sea, and filled with a variety of mouthwatering ingredients. Some popular flavors include sockeye salmon, tuna mayo, plum pickled radish, pork kimchi, and kelp. One onigiri costs between 200 and 300 yen.
In addition to onigiri, Musubiya Zen also offers complimentary side dishes, such as fried chicken seasoned with its original blend of spices, sausages, and miso soup.
Although Musubiya Zen primarily does takeout, it also has a small eat-in area, making it an excellent place to grab food on the go or enjoy a casual meal indoors.
