Miyagase Dam Sightseeing (Opening of the Floodgates)
The Miyagase Dam discharges water in intervals. The area around the dam is a popular destination for couples and families. The Miyagase Dam itself puts on an impressive water discharge show that lasts 6 minutes, releasing pillars of water from a height of about 70m, sometimes creating rainbows on clear days. This popular attraction is a beautiful, majestic sight to behold.
