Kanoko Okamoto Literature Monument Pride

Okamoto Kanoko, who played an active part in the literary world from the Taisho period to Showa period, was born in Futako. The Okamoto Kanoko Literary Monument at Futago Shrine was created by her eldest son, Okamoto Taro, who is known for his "Tower of the Sun" building and the handwriting is of Yasunari Kawabata, a famous novelist.
