The center's purpose is to promote the fisheries industry in Kanagawa Prefecture. It is responsible for the research of fish, shells, and the ocean environment as well as for the development of technology relating to fisheries production. Visitors are always welcome, but please note that we can neither provide guidance for visitors nor explanation of displayed materials.
