Jogashima Lighthouse

Designed by French engineer Verny and completed in 1870. The current lighthouse was rebuilt in 1926 after being completely destroyed in the Great Kanto Earthquake. At a height of 11.5m and built on a cliff with an altitude of 20m, it features magnificent views! Together with the Awasaki Lighthouse on the east side, both have been certified as “love lighthouses.”
