Hayamasangaokayama Ryokuchi Park
Hayama Sangaoka Green Space is a place where residents of the prefecture can easily enjoy the sea and mountains that represent the charms of Hayama. The area around Mount Migaoka (Mount Omine), which is approximately 140 meters above sea level, is a lush green area that has been designated as an "urban forest" for the purpose of protecting forested areas that serve as habitats for plants and animals. The ridge trail leading to the three peaks is a hiking course with log stairs, benches, and squares, etc. Flowers such as cherry and azalea in spring, hydrangea in early summer, and nokanzou in summer, as well as wild birds, welcome hikers. The view of the ocean and Mount Fuji from the observatory and summit plaza is spectacular and has been selected as one of the "100 Best Views of Mount Fuji.”
