Hakone Visitor Center

We have gathered information about nature in the Hakone area and displayed it with easy-to-understand explanations. The museum has information and panel displays on the flowers in the surrounding gardens, as well as flight information about the birds and nature. We also feature images of Hakone's beautiful nature in our high-definition theater, as well as a three-dimensional terrain diorama. Why not take a break and admire the four seasons from our one-walled glass observatory lounge? We hold many events during Golden Week and summer, including craft classes and guided walks, with many families visiting each year. We also hold events like nature observations regularly. Make sure to stop by our visitor center if you're visiting Hakone. Our staff is happy to answer any questions about hiking and nature observation. (Please check the website or call in advance to see if events are being held). The park is surrounded by numerous nature trails, and we also offer a free parking lot (with space for 40 normal-sized cars).
