The Kanagawa "Toshio Suzuki and Studio Ghibli Exhibition" will be held at the Yokosuka Museum of Art
The "Toshio Suzuki and Studio Ghibli Exhibition", an exhibition which has toured across seven locations across the country, will open for the first time in Kanagawa Prefecture at the Yokosuka Museum of Art, a museum which has been selected as one of the "10 most scenic museums in the world". This special exhibition will be held for a total of 88 days and will interest Ghibli fans of all ages.
This exhibition will feature an introduction of the many movies and books many have watched from childhood by Studio Ghibli producer Toshio Suzuki, who worked alongside directors Isao Takahata and Hayao Miyazaki to bring to life some of the world's most famous movies. This exhibit will also reveal the secret surrounding the birth of Studio Ghibli and behind-the-scenes aspects of movie planning and promotion.
There will also be numerous photo spots in the venue, including giant "hanging words" which include lines of script created by Mr. Suzuki himself, and a giant Yubaba and Zeniba fortune area where you can get either normal or love fortunes. We look forward to seeing you at the venue!
