Shichifuku-jin, seven gods of fortune, are believed to expel seven misfortunes and grant seven fortunes. This tour takes you to these seven gods of fortune while exploring the town of Hiratsuka. It is about a 8 km walking course (approx 3 hours). On a sunny day, you can enjoy appreciating the beauty of Sunset over Hiratsuka Sand Dune, Mt. Oyama and Mt. Fuji while walking. Each temple sells original Seven Gods of Fortune Colored Paper for goshuin (temple stamp), and you can enjoy collecting all seven stamps at each temple you visit.

Hiratsuka Hachimangu Shrine

This is one of the Six Shrines of Sagami. Events such as the Annual Festival, the Hamaori Festival, and the Bonbori Festival are held here. The Hachimanyama Park next to it was chosen as one of the Eight Views of Hiratsuka, and is one of a few western styled architectures built during the Meiji era in this prefecture.
