This temple is the main temple of the Jishu sect, founded by Ippen Shonin in the Kamakura period. The highlight of this place is the large Ginkgo Tree which is designated as a natural monument by the city. Also, Every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, there will be a antique flea market held here.
