For about 100 years from the time of Hojo Soun, the group of ninjas known as Fuuma governed over the eight Edo period provinces of Kanto with Odawara Castle as their base, supporting the Hōjō clan. This 2-day festival is held to spread awareness of the Fuuma. At the Ninja Dojo, you can be taught the art of throwing shuriken or using blowguns by an instructor. At the hall, there are performances as well as horse riding to try. A variety of ninja goods are available for purchase.
